Navnath Milk and Milk Products Pvt. Ltd., Govindnagar, Baramati The Department of Electrical Engineering organized an Industrial Visit for students to Navnath Milk and Milk Products Pvt. Ltd., Govindnagar, Baramati. The objective of this visit was to provide students with an opportunity to explore and learn about the dairy industry operations, production processes, supply chain, and quality management practices. Highlights of the Visit Students observed the end-to-end milk processing system, starting from milk collection, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, and packaging. The visit provided insights into the automation and electrical systems used in dairy plants for efficient production. Students learned about the cold storage and refrigeration techniques required to maintain product quality. Exposure to the supply chain network helped students understand how milk and other dairy products are distributed effectively while ensuring freshness. The quality control laboratory demonstrated how various parameters such as fat content, SNF (solids-not-fat), and microbial safety are monitored.
